FORZA MILAN!

MILAN – He trained at Real Madrid with the utmost professionalism and commitment right until the end. Then, along with the prediction of current Real Madrid coach and Milan legend Carlo Ancelotti that “At Milan he will be happy”, Diego Lopez made his way to Milan arriving just before 21.00 at Milan-Linate Airport on Monday evening.
The 32 year-old Spanish shot-stopper was greeted by numerous fans and television cameras, hardly surprising after important years as a protagonist with the Spanish giants Real Madrid. There were no regrets or second thoughts however and his focus was solely on his new club. His first words confirmed this and he said to the Milan Channel: “A new stage of my career is about to begin, I thank both clubs for giving me the opportunity to be here.”
An important addition in the transfer market for Milan and Lopez certainly endeared himself to the fans by his cry of “Forza Milan!” as he got into a car to leave the airport on Monday.
Welcome to Milan Diego Lopez!
