MILAN – The Rossoneri held an afternoon work-out on Thursday and continued with their preparations for this Sunday’s round 31 Serie A clash with Atalanta. CLICK HERE for our match-preview.After a warm-up, which consisted of running and exercises for the upper and lower body, the players moved on to possession drills 4v4 with 2 free-floating players.Tactics then took centre stage at Milanello with the squad split into two groups: one group worked on defence and the other on offence with the use of the metal mannequins. Following that, the groups came together for an attack v defence drill.Individuals: Bonaventura, Montolivo and Romagnoli, as well as Luiz Adriano, took part in the entire session with the rest of their team-mates. Bacca, Zapata and Honda meanwhile ran through a light session following their recent international commitments. Kucka, Alex and Mexes trained apart and followed personalised training programmes.
