EVO MORALES VISITS MILAN

The head of state of Bolivia, President Evo Morales, visited Casa Milan and Milanello this morning.

MILAN – Boliva president Evo Morales visited Milanello and Casa Milan this Saturday morning. The Bolivian head of state was greeted at the club’s HQ by legendary captain Franco Baresi, who immediately presented a Milan shirt with the number 59 and president’s name on the back. In return President Morales gave Baresi the shirt of the Bolivia national team.

The historic Rossoneri captain then gave President Morales at guided tour of the Mondo Milan museum, the biggest attraction being the trophy room, the Sala delle Coppe.

After an hour at Casa Milan, the tour continued at Milan’s training centre, Milanello, where Milan Glories welcomed the president with an 8-a-side match. President Morales in the first half represented the Boliva select, then after the interval played alongside noted former Milan players like Daniele Massaro, Angelo Carbone, Ibrahim Ba and Pietro Vierchowod.

Completing the morning’s satisfaction for Morales was a double and only the post stopped the head of state from completing a notable hat-trick.
