DOUBLE SESSION TODAY

MILANELLO - There will be a double training session today as the team continue their preparations to face Chievo at the weekend.
The team were back for the first work-out of the week yesterday. Diego Lopez and Philippe Mexes are back from suspension and took part.
The session started with a warm-up and some runs to stretch out the legs.
The players worked on a drill where they ran quickly with the ball before shooting on goal before dividing into groups of four for attack against defence drills.
There was then a 10 against 10 possession drill and a practice match to finish. The goalkeepers trained apart while Bonaventura, Cerci, Destro and Montolivo went through their personalised programme.
Looking back at the statistics (source Panini Digital Soccer) from Sunday’s match against Cesena: the possession in the first half was 64% to 36 in favour of Milan, in the second half 51 to 49% in favour of Cesena, for a total of 57 to 43% in favour of Milan.
That was almost similar to the territorial supremacy, again Panini Digital Soccer, the first half 63% to 43 for Milan, in the second 52 to 48% for Cesena and a total of 57% to 43 for Milan.
