MILAN - It proved to be a spectacular match at the Vismara between Milan and Inter, especially in the first half.
The Rossoneri took the game to the Nerazzurri and created plenty of chances. On 24 minutes Crociata hit the crossbar for the hosts directly from a free kick but then just when Milan were on top the visitors scored against the run of play on 41 minutes with a goal from Baldini.
Milan saw a penalty saved just before the interval as the Nerazzurri took a one goal lead into the break.
Early in the second half Milan had Livieri sent off for a foul as last man, but despite playing with a man down, the Rossoneri still matched their city rivals.
A goal on the 90th minute from Pinamonti made the final score 2-0 to Inter.
