CASA MILAN GALLERY

MILAN – Visitors to Casa Milan will now be able to check out the latest project to be launched at the club’s headquarters: Casa Milan Gallery.
On the 28th of May, Casa Milan opens a new exhibition within the art project of Museo Mondo Milan: Casa Milan Gallery. Thanks to the Strada Milan project in collaboration with Avantgarden Gallery, the new space is dedicated to contemporary art and will host four exhibitions dedicated to Italian and International artists of contemporary Street Art.
The first artist to open Casa Milan Gallery will be No Curves, the famous exponent of the tape-art very well known for creating his artworks only with tapes of different shapes and colors. His works, inspired by constructivist and kinetic art, are characterized by geometric cuts and broken lines without curves and with colored and straight lines that end into perfect joints. For the occasion, the artist will create a series of works in Red and the Black dedicated to AC Milan, portraying both past champions of the past such as the legendary skipper Franco Baresi and today’s players by exploring the themes of energy and dynamism. At the inauguration evening, the club’s joint-CEO Barbara Berlusconi said the following: "Ever since Casa Milan opened, we have been thinking about opening an area dedicated to culture, youths, the local residents, with content that takes inspiration from the brand and Milan’s values. One year after the opening of Casa Milan, this exhibition is a firm step in that direction, an area for art, open every day, with free entrance, in which during the first year 4 different artists from the national and international Street Art movement will alternate. The Street Art is to remind us of the emotions of an authentic football, that which is born on the streets, when two children take each other on purely for the fun of it and for the thrill of scoring a goal."CLICK HERE FOR THE PHOTOS.We welcome you to Casa Milan for the No Curves exhibition. The entrance is free!
