MILAN - The Stelle di Natale of the Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma this year celebrates its 25th birthday and they will return to 4000 squares around Italy on the 6th, 7th and 8th December. A Christmas plant will be given to all those who make a small contribution of 12 euro as over the years this association has collected significant funds for scientific research and sanitary assistance and also helped the distribution of the progress made in the treatment of cancer of the blood.
Recent results in scientific studies and also the development of more efficient therapies, including stem cell transplants, have greatly improved diagnosis and cures in patients. however it is necessary to continue with the research in order to reach new objectives and find new cures for Leukemia, Lymphomas and Myelomas.
