MILAN – The Milan Allievi (U17) squad are taking part in the 45th edition of the ‘Torneo Città di Arco-Beppe Viola’ and have been put in Group C. The Rossoneri kicked-off in the opening match of the tournament versus Juventus on Thursday March 10 at midday and fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat.What’s more, the match was broadcast live on Rai Sport. On Friday, the Rossoneri take on a national amateur representative side at 15.00 while on Saturday the final group match pits Milan against Verona at 15.00. The semi-finals are scheduled for Sunday March 13 while the final takes place on Tuesday, March 15.In the other Groups, Trentino representative, Weston, Atalanta and Torino make up Group A, Roma, Arco, Lazio and Fiorentina Group B, Inter, Lega Pro representative, Chievo and Napoli Group D. A host of important and key figures from Italian sport and football will be on hand for the youth tournament such as the Italy Olympic Committee President Giovanni Malagò, Italian Referees’ Association President Marcello Nicchi not to mention Milan great Gianni Rivera and coaching legend Giovanni Trapattoni.
