MILAN – The rossoneri earned their first point of 2015 after a 1-1 draw away to Torino on Saturday night, which was achieved having played the entire second-half in 10 men after De Sciglio’s sending off at the end of the first-half.

Diego Lopez was in fine form once again making a number of excellent saves at the Olimpico stadium while Jeremy Menez was faultless once again from the penalty-spot to break the deadlock early on for the rossoneri.

Here are the stats to emerge from Saturday’s draw in Turin:

9- the number of goals scored by Jérémy Menez this season after his penalty kick against Torino. The French forward has not missed a single penalty this season netting 5 from 5.

26- the number of points that Milan have with one more game to go before we reach the half-way point of the season. The rossoneri have 4 points more compared to this time last season.

12- the number of points collected by Milan on their travels this season. From 9 games away from the San Siro, Milan have collected 2 wins, 6 draws and just 1 defeat.

18- the number of balls recovered by Nigel De Jong against Torino on Saturday night according to the statistics collected by Panini Digital for Legaseriea.it. The Dutchman won back possession more than any other player in the Milan line-up against Torino.

After 63 days, Milan have ended an unwanted record and found the back of the net away from home. Before the Torino match, the last time Milan scored on the road was away to Sampdoria on the 8th of November. Interestingly it was also Jeremy Menez that day on the score-sheet and once more the goal came from the penalty spot in a 2-2 draw.
