MILAN – The Milan youth sector team, the Primavera, bounced back from the narrow 1-0 defeat away to Sassuolo last week and restored winning ways on Saturday morning with a convincing 4-0 win over Chievo. The Primavera made an excellent start to the Round 13 league match and after just 11 minutes Vassallo won back possession outside the Chievo penalty area and unleashed an unstoppable left foot shot to give Milan the lead.Milan doubled their advantage just 3 minutes later thanks to a corner-kick from Derosa, which went straight into the back of the net without anyone else getting a touch to the ball. The rossoneri didn’t take their foot off the gas and went in search of a third goal which arrived on 22 minutes thanks to Di Molfetta’s free-kick.After the restart, Davide Calabria’s wonderful right foot strike from distance opened up a 4 goal cushion for Milan on 58 minutes. The rossoneri came close to extending their lead through Vassallo, although the Milan youngster sent his effort over the bar when he was one on one with the Chievo goalkeeper.
