ALLIEVI MARCH ON

DOHA – The Milan Allievi scored twice in stoppage time to overturn a 2-0 deficit at half-time and draw 2-2 with Juventus in the final group stage match of the Al Kass International Cup. The result means Milan progress to the quarter finals of the prestigious youth competition in Doha, Qatar as winners of the group.
Milan started the match brightly, but it was the side from Turin that broke the deadlock after a counter-attack which was finished off by Arras on 15 minutes. Milan threatened on several occasions and Agnero came close to levelling the scores and was inches away from connecting with a Llamas cross. Instead it was Juve who scored again, doubling their lead through Arras on 37 minutes after he capitalised on a defensive error by the rossoneri.
Juventus appeared to be heading for a 2-0 win, but the rossoneri never gave up and kept on believing right until the very end. The goals for Milan arrived in stoppage time and were both scored by Agnero. His goals have earned Milan a quarter-final showdown with Aspire Academy on Tuesday the 10th of February.
