‘ALL GIVE MORE’

Jack Bonaventura analysed the current situation within the team.

MILAN – Giacomo Bonaventura was at Casa Milan on Friday for a meet and greet with the fans as part of this year’s Carnival celebrations. The Italian also took the chance to speak to gathered journalists.

Opening comments on Sunday’s match against Cesena: “Cesena are in form, we have to play our game though. It’s normal that the fans are a bit disappointed. The coach? He’s encouraged us to give that little bit extra.”

Bonaventura added: “In midfield I’ve played in a wide position and I’ve been very happy there. We’ve been trying out new solutions, but there is nothing definitive.”

Closing comments: “It’s a bit sad to see Milan in this position in the table, but this is football and these types of seasons happen. We’ve been working hard in the past weeks, and maybe we will now start to see our efforts rewarded. The group is all united, working towards the same goal which is to start picking up points again. The criticisms? We are very self-critical, we’ve spoken to each other and we’ve all said that we have to give more.”
