MILANELLO – The team will train in the afternoon at 15.00 and president Silvio Berlusconi will visit Milanello to speak to the players.
On Thursday, the players headed out to train on the raised pitch at Milanello just before midday.After some stretching and passing drills over 5 work-stations, the players worked on possession by going through a 10 v 10 exercise. Alessio Cerci drifted between the two teams and played for the one in possession.Thursday’s session then continued with an intense focus on tactics ahead of this Sunday’s Serie A match at home to Atalanta. For this phase of the session, the squad was divided into 2 groups: the forwards and the midfielders worked with head coach Filippo Inzaghi whereas the defence trained with assistant coach Mauro Tassotti.Individuals: Muntari, Van Ginkel and Armero all trained with the rest of their team-mates.
