ADVENTURE BEGINS

MILAN – Giacomo Bonaventura’s adventure with the rossoneri jersey couldn’t have started any better. The President Silvio Berlusconi backed him last Friday during his visit to Milanello and he didn’t disappoint. After the positive signs in training, he delivered with a debut goal versus Parma and a solid performance.
Speaking yesterday from Casa Milan (see the photo above), Giacomo Bonaventura spoke to Italy’s football TV show “Tiki Taka”. This is what he had to say below:
On Saturday’s match Milan-Juventus: "There are positive feelings, we’re on the back of 2 wins and we’re playing very well. We’ll be at home and there is enthusiasm, but Juventus are a very strong side, the strongest in the league."
On Inzaghi: "For now, he’s seemed to me a great coach, able to create a really cohesive group. The coach is one of us. I’ve not been here long, but I can see shared objectives and great enthusiasm. Everybody wants to do well.”
Other themes: "Menez? He has great technical qualities and he’s good with both feet. He’s very fast and in my opinion a top player. My role? I liked where I played against Parma. I’m closer to the goal and I have more chances to score goals like this, it’s a great position."
