FILIPPO INZAGHI SPEAKS EXCLUSIVELY TO THE MILAN CHANNEL

MILAN – Filippo Inzaghi gave an exclusive interview to the Milan Channel ahead of Sunday’s Serie A match away at Napoli. These were the coach’s comments:

“When you go to the San Paolo and take on Napoli, you know you’re going to be facing a great side. However, we’re Milan and so we have to play well and honour the jersey and give a good performance for the fans. We’ve trained well and whoever takes to the pitch will play with pride. It’s been tough to react after Wednesday’s match with Genoa. While I am here, we will always give our all. I am sorry about the Udinese match, but I am sure that we will give our all tomorrow. We have a squad up to the standard to deal with the absences. I’ve seen a team with a desire to bounce back. Words serve for little. It is actions that count. There are 3 youth sector players in the squad, I will evaluate how they’re doing and I would like to give them a chance between now and the end of the season. After the derby, we switched off a bit, and when you do that it is hard to start off again but our aim has to be to play well and honour the jersey. We have a big chance tomorrow in a great stadium against a side that is amongst the strongest sides at home, but if we play to our potential we can come away with a positive result.”
