✅ Stats before the game. Venezia are unbeaten in Serie A against Empoli, thanks to two wins and a draw; in all three precedents in the competition both teams have scored (12 goals per budget, an average of four per match). Empoli have only won one of their eight away games against Venice between Serie A and B (2N, 5P): 2-0 in July 2020 in the cadet championship, thanks to a brace from Leonardo Mancuso. Each of the three challenges between newly promoted teams in this championship ended with a success of the away team, in particular Venezia won on the Empoli field in September, while Empoli won on the Salernitana field in October (complete success of the Campania team in Veneto) – never has a Serie A season with three new promoters seen more away wins in these challenges.
👉 Lineup Venezia (4-3-3): Lezzerini; Ampadu, Caldara, Ceccaroni, Molinaro; Cuisance, Crnigoj, Tessmann; Aramu, Henry, Kiyine.
👉 Lineup Empoli (4-3-1-2): Vicario; Stojanovic, Tonelli, Ismajli, Fiamozzi; Zurkowski, Ricci, Bandinelli; Bajrami, Henderson; Pinamonti.
