Italy team training on Thursday 7 October 2021 at Coverciano after losing the UEFA Nations League Semifinal defeated by Spain.  Italy is preparing to play for the Third Place.

As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the team got to Coverciano late last night after the game against Spain at San Siro. Those that didn’t start yesterday (Sirigu, Meret, Calabria, Dimarco, Cristante, Locatelli, Pellegrini, Berardi, Bernardeschi and Raspadori) trained as usual, while the others were doing light recovery work in the swimming pool and gym. Twenty-two players are still with the group after Leonardo Bonucci returned to his club – he is suspended for Sunday’s game after being sent off during the game against Spain.

 AS Roma with a high motivation win the  UEFA Europa Conference League Group Stage Group C, Matchday 1 game crushing CSKA Sofia on Thursday 16 September 2021 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy.  Roma dominating CSKA and add another celebration for Coach Mourinho who celebrated last week his 1,000th game.

CSKA Sofia opening the score in the 10th minute. The goal by Graham Carey defeating AS Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio with a left footed shot to the center. The assist is by Yanic Wildschut.

AS Roma equalizing in the 25th minute. It is Lorenzo Pellegrini to defeat CSKA Sofia goalkeeper Busatto with a right footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Rick Karsdorp.
