MILAN – According to the official Bologna website, bolognafc.it, the rossoblu trained this morning ahead of their match this Friday against Milan at the San Siro at 20.45.The players who started yesterday’s match did a cool-down session, while the rest of the group took part in a more intense training session. This included Marek Cech and Francesco Della Rocca who have now recommenced full training with the group. Michele Pazienza trained alone while Robert Acquafresca continued to receive treatment for his injury.

MILAN - Milan’s match against Bologna on Friday the 14th of February will mark 10 years since the death of Italian cyclist Marco Pantani.In the first match played immediately after his death, the Milan supporters paid tribute to the cyclist with banners in his memory during Milan-Inter 3-2 on the 21st of February 2004.

MILAN – Milan take on Bologna on Valentine’s Day this Friday the 14th of February at 20.45 at the San Siro.The last time Milan played a Serie A match on Valentine’s Day was the 14th of February 1999: Milan-Venezia 2-1 with the goals for the rossoneri coming from Guglielminpietro and Ganz.

MILAN – This is what the Primavera coach Filippo Inzaghi had to say ahead of the Viareggio Tournament and tomorrow’s match against Rijeka in an exclusive interview with the Milan Channel earlier:"We have to turn our entrance into the Viareggio Tournament at the knock-out stages into an advantage, even if the teams there have already played and are used to it. Let’s hope they’re a bit tired compared to us. They are one-off matches on less than ideal playing surfaces which for us is a disadvantage. They’re unique matches in which you have to fight, but we’re ready, we’re Milan, in these type of competitions the only thing that matters is getting to the end and winning. We’ll try and do just that by playing good football because this is our philosophy. I’m hoping that our players have also grown through their experiences in the UEFA Youth League. We need to take it one game at a time, there is a match every 2 days. Our opponents Rijeka beat Genoa and were more than a match for Sampdoria. It will be tough against a team with character, but the players are up for the match. Pinato trained today, he’s not 100% fit as yet, we’ll try and cope. Piccinocchi, who is a very important player for us is unavailable. Fabbro isn’t fully-fit, but we have Petagna available and the Milan squad is excellent. We’ll fill the gaps with the players that we have available. Aniekan and Bende Bende are ready to give us a hand. Aniekan will probably play tomorrow. He’s given everything in training but I’ve not been able to play him much. He did well against Udinese and I’m happy to give him this chance as he deserves it."

We hoped to have Cristante but he’s unfortunately injured, I don’t think Piccinocchi will be available for 2 weeks and Pinato is still recovering. However, we’re going there to do well with the players we have available. We’re also taking Petagna who has been added to the squad. We’ve got a quality bunch of players and there will also be the chance to give some playing time to the players who have featured less. For those players it will be a chance to show us their worth. We’ve studied Rijeka, they play with a 4-2-3-1 formation and they’ve got good players, especially on the left. They’ve got a great striker. They’re a good group and they count on their athletic strengths. To be at Viareggio is an important goal for them, against us they will play the game of their lives. Last year Anderlecht did really well. The top seeds are the strongest teams that will take part in the competition."
