MILAN – According to the official Livorno website, the Tuscans took part in an afternoon training session yesterday. Domenico Di Carlo’s players started with a 30 minute fitness and jogging session. This was followed by some practice matches on a reduced size pitch with one or two goals. The session then finished with some tactical considerations ahead of the match with Milan this Saturday at the San Siro at 15.00.Livorno will train again today at 10.00.

Sunday’s 5-3 success at Verona saw Fiorentina simultaneously conquer two important milestones: the club’s 1000th victory in Serie A and win number 250 under the Della Valle family’s ownership.

Andrea Della Valle said to Violachannel.tv: “This target could not have been honoured in any better way. I’m proud that my family has reached this historic landmark and I’m sure that we’ll go on to achieve even more great results because we’re on the right path.”
