👉🏆   Florentina lost the UEFA Europa Conference League Semifinal First Leg against FC Basel on Thursday 11 May 2023 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy. Thefirst round in Basel, Fiorentina defeated 2-1 at home. Viola ahead in the first half thanks to a goal by Arthur Cabral in the 25th minute. In the second half, FC Basel comeback. The equalizer by Diouf and Amdouni freezes the Franchi in the 92nd minute.

The return match between Fiorentina and Basel will be played next Thursday in Switzerland.

Fiorentina opened the score in the 25th minute. Arthur Cabral defeated FC Basel goalkeeper Marwin Hitz with a headed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Lucas Martínez following a corner conceded by Michael Lang.

A final blow in the 92nd minute.  FC Basel took the lead with the goal by  Zeki Amdouni  with a right footed shot to the center. The assist is by Darian Males.
