Belgium crushing Russia winning the UEFA Euro 2020 Group B match on Saturday 12 June 2021 at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in Russia.   Belgium grabbing this victory inspired by leading force Inter forward Romelu Lukaku with a brace. In total, Lukaku scoring 19 goals in 15 appearances with Belgium.

Italian Serie A Players in this game:

  • Inter forward Romelu Lukaku (Belgium) played all game
  • Napoli forward Dries Mertens (Belgium) played the first 72 minutes and replaced by Eden Hazard
  • Atalanta midfielder Aleksei Miranchuk (Russia) replacing Denis Cheryshev in the 63rd minute.

Belgium opening the score in the 10th minute.  Forward Romelu Lukaku defeating Russia goalkeeper with a left footed shot to the bottom right corner.   It is a special goal for Lukaku as earlier in the game Denmark 0 – 1 Finland, his club teammate midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch being stretchered off.   Lukaku celebrating this goal running towards the camera to say, “Chris, Chris, I love you.”

The second goal for Belgium arriving in the 34th minute.  It is Thomas Meunier to deliver a left footed shot to the bottom right corner.

In the 88th minute, Lukaku scoring with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner.   The assist is by Thomas Meunier.  Great combo!!!
