Netherlands winning the UEFA Euro 2020 Group C match defeating Ukraine on Sunday 13 June 2021 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam. This is an important victory because it is Netherlands first win in a European Championship since 2008 and their first victory in a major tournament since the 2014 World Cup.  On Matchday 2, on Thursday, Netherlands will face Austria and Ukraine will face North Macedonia.

England winning the UEFA Euro 2020 Group D match defeating Croatia on Sunday 13 June 2021 at the Wembley Stadium in London, England.   One goal was enough to secure the victory.      Highlight of the match is seeing Jude Bellingham becoming the youngest player at 17 years old to play in the Euros. Bellingham replaced Kane.  Luka Modrić making his 138th international outing for Croatia. On Matchday 2, England will face Scotland on June 18 at Wembley and Croatia will face Czech Republic at Hampden Park.
