North Macedonia Captain Goran Pandev, 37 years old, playing his last international game on Monday 21 June 2021 during the UEFA Euro 2020 game North Macedonia vs Netherlands at the Johan Cruijff Arena.  Pandev played 20 years with his nation and 122 caps saluting his country.  Pandev was honored before the Kickoff game by Netherlands Captain Georginio Wijnaldum giving  him a Netherland shirt with the No. 122 printed on its back.

Surely, Pandev received a standing ovation while leaving the pitch on his last international game in the 69th minute when he was replaced by Tihomir Kostadinov .   On a personal note, allow me to give Pandev a virtual standing ovation too.

Pandev, plays for Genoa in the Italian Serie A.
