Ukraine win the UEFA Euro Round of 16 game defeating in extra time Sweden on Tuesday 29 June 2021 at the Parken Stadium. Ukraine qualified to the Quarterfinals against England on Saturday 3 July! Sweden remained with 10 players since the 99th minute when Marcus Danielson got a red card.
Sweden ended up as the winners of Group E with seven points and posting a +2 goal differential through wins against Poland and Slovakia and a 0-0 draw against Spain. Ukraine made it to the knockout stages with three points and a -1 goal differential despite playing in the easiest group of the tournament. Ukraine got the best draw finishing third in their group.
