Como conquered the Serie A Week 32 match on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium in Como, Italy. Como secured a victory with a strong performance, highlighted by Douvikas’ goal in the 38th minute of the first half. The excitement peaked in the closing moments when Ilic had a goal ruled out during stoppage time. With this win, Como has now achieved two consecutive victories, bringing their total to 36 points and solidifying their position in 13th place.
Torino, who had been unbeaten in the league since February 14th, is now facing defeat once again. On that previous occasion, Vanoli was also without Ricci. As a result, the Granata remain at 40 points, sitting in 10th place. Their upcoming match will see them take on Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
In their next match, the Lariani will travel to Lecce to play at the Via del Mare.
Como’s last victory at home against Torino in Serie A was a narrow 1-0 win on May 24, 2003, thanks to a goal from Mirko Benin. In their last three top-flight matches at the Sinigaglia against the Granata, the Lariani have achieved two clean sheets, matching the number they secured in their previous ten encounters at this venue against the Piedmontese.
Como took the advantage in the 38th minute when Tasos Douvikas found the net with a close-range header directed into the bottom left corner. Mërgim Vojvoda provided the assist. Ikone received the ball at the edge of the penalty area, patiently waited for Vojvoda to make a run on the right, and then delivered a precise pass. Vojvoda’s cross to the far post was spot on, allowing Douvikas to simply nod it in. Goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic had no chance. GOALLLLL!
