The Italian Referee Association (AIA) has designated Referee Ivano Pezzuto from the section of Lecce to direct the Serie A Week 12 game Parma vs Cagliari at the Ennio Tardini Stadium in Parma, Italy at 20:45.

Referee Pezzuto will be assisted by Giorgio Peretti from the section of Verona and Michele Grossi from the section of Frosinone.  The fourth official will be Fabrizio Pasqua from the section of Tivoli.  The VAR will be Luca Banti from the section of Livorno and Alessandro Lo Cicero from the section of Brescia.

The Serie A  leadership will remain the same.  AC Milan with  27 points.   AC Milan shining big time with their positive moment qualifying to the UEFA Europa League Round of 16.   AC Milan ended with an agonizing equalizer goal in the 91st minute for the 2-2 to grab one point.   Parma wasted the chance to grab this away victory after leading with a 0-2 in San Siro.

Sassuolo is running a sprint race defeating Benevento with a 1-0 thanks to the goal by forward Domenico Berardi. Sassuolo reaching 22 points and is putting up a strong front to be among the top 3 positions.

Crotone finally finding a ray of hope.  Crotone defeating Spezia at the Ezio Scida Stadium with  a very important home victory because it is their first win this season in Serie A after being promoted from Serie B. Crotone reaching 5 points!   Despite the victory, Crotone remain in the last position but the motivation for salvation is high.

Crotone surviving the pressure winning the Serie A Week 11 game against Spezia on Saturday 12 December 2020 at the Ezio Scida in Crotone, Italy.   Crotone being in the last position with only 2 points looking for answers to climb positions.  This is a very important home victory for Crotone because it is their first win this season in Serie A after being promoted from Serie B. Crotone reaching 5 points!

Crotone and Spezia have challenged each other 14 times in Serie B and only on one occasion has the match ended in a draw (0-0 in April 2016): four Calabrian and nine Ligurian victories complete the balance sheet.

Crotone opening the score in the 7th minute. Junior Messias, launched by Molina, jumps into Terzi speed and kicks from the edge of the area to find the lower corner to the right of Spezia goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.

Spezia equalizing for the 1-1 in the 18th minute. Zanellato’s mistake in his own penalty area. The Crotone midfielder mistakenly serves Diego Farias who kicks first to equalize. Crotone goalkeeper Alex Cordaz, helpless, sees the ball slip into the low corner to his right.

Crotone taking the lead again in the 49th minute with Reca powerfully sending the ball at the far post for the 2-1.

Motivation is high for Crotone increasing the score for the 3-1 in the 56th minute. Eduardo Henrique, the former Sporting Lisbon midfielder, left alone, easily scores the third goal!!
