Italian Soccer Serie A supports the Italian National Team

Italy Head Coach Roberto Mancini called up 29 players for European Qualifiers in the ninth and tenth matches in Group J, Italy will play Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday 15th November 2019 at the Bilino Poje Stadium in Zenica at 20:45 and Armenia on Monday 18th November with kick-off at 20:45 at the Stadio Renzo Barbera.    Good news is that Italy already secured the qualification for EURO 2020 with three matches to spare.

As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the Italian team will meet to start training on Monday 11 November at the Technical Center of Coverciano.   Players getting their first called ups include Brescia defender Andrea Cistana,  Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli, and Bologna forward Riccardo Orsolini.  Udinese midfielder Rolando Mandragora and Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi are back for the first time since June and November 2018. For the first time, Gianluca Vialli will be the delegation head.

👉 Bosnia Herzegovina vs. Italy

The Azzurri will be playing in Zenica for the first time. The only other match played away against Bosnia and Herzegovina was in Sarajevo in 1996 and defeat marked the end of the Arrigo Sacchi era. Following the match in Turin, the balance is now level against Bosnia and Herzegovina with a win apiece and the sides level on goal difference.

👉 Italy vs. Armenia

It will be the fourth match between Italy against Armenia after two qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup and the earlier European Qualifier in September in Yerevan. Italy have won two and drawn one. It will be the 14th match in Palermo where the side has won 12 times with a current run of six straight wins, drawn once and lost once.

Points are up for stake as the team looks to top the group and ensure its status as a seeded team for the draw on 30 November in Bucharest and make up ground in the FIFA Ranking ahead of qualification for the 2022 World Cup. Italy are currently 15th in the world and 10th in Europe.

Italian Soccer Serie A

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2019-2020 Serie A Week 12 RESULTS / Twelfth Round on Friday 8, Saturday 9, and Sunday 10 November 2019.

👉 Up to Serie A Week 12: There is a three-way race between Juventus (32),  Inter (31),  and Lazio (24)

⚽️ Serie A Top Scorer up to Week 12:
Lazio forward Ciro Immobile with 14 goals

Serie A tickets

The status quo in the first two positions remain the same.  Juventus winning the Serie A Week 12 game defeating AC Milan to keep the first position on Sunday 10 November 2019 at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy.   Juventus reaching 32 points and a positive goal difference of +11.  Juventus is followed by Inter with 31 points in the second position.   Inter defeating  Hellas Verona with a 2-1.

Lazio fans celebrating the lost of AS Roma because now the third position belongs to Lazio!  Yes, Lazio defeated Lecce with a 4-2 reaching 24 points while Roma remain with 22 points.

A disappointing goalless draw Napoli 0 – 0 Genoa.  It’s just a major step back for Napoli losing points and seeing the gap to the first position growing and growing…. This is the 4th draw for Napoli and the 3rd for Genoa. Napoli is below the European zone and the wake up call is sounding loud for a revival.

Brescia Coach Fabio Grosso making his debut with a terrible lost. Brescia lost the Serie A Week 12 game against Torino on Saturday 9 November 2019 at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti in Brescia, Italy. Torino humiliated Brescia with a poker and not giving them a chance to react. It’s a total blow for Brescia remaining in the relegation zone winning only 2 games this season.  Brescia went down from the 19th to the 20th position.

Cagliari  humiliating Fiorentina with a mega goleada 5 – 2 at the Sardegna Arena. Definitely, the game was a total party for Cagliari crushing Fiorentina with 5 goals! Cagliari was on fire dominating while Fiorentina not finding the way to react until the end with 2 goals.  The star of the match is Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan providing two assists and scoring a goal.  Total party at the Sardegna Arena!  Cagliari climbing from the 6th to the 4th position reaching 24 points same points with Lazio.

Parma giving a tough lesson to Roma at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.  Parma giving a cold shower to Roma on their quest to climb the Serie A standing.  Parma defeated Roma with a 2-0 score!  Roma not only lost the game, but also lost the third position going down to the 5th position!!!!!  The party is for Parma climbing from the 10th to the 8th position.

Spal gaining a valuable point a the Dacia Arena after the goalless draw against Udinese.  Spal dreaming with salvation climbing from the 20th to the 19th position reaching 8 points.
