Status quo in the leadership confirming Juventus as sole leader of the Serie A reaching 30 points and a positive goal difference of +16 after defeating Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.  Juventus is keeping a +4 point above of AS Roma holding the second position with 26 points and a positive goal difference of +17 after defeating Bologna with a 3-0 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.  Juventus having a +5 point over AC Milan in the 3rd position with 25 points and a positive goal difference of +4 after defeating Palermo at the Renzo Barbera Stadium with 1 -2 result.

The top scorer of the Serie A:   AS Roma forward Edin Dzeko and Inter forward Mauro Icardi with 10 goals each

Hello, my friends. Here are the Serie A Week 11 Results – Roundup, Eleventh Round on Saturday 29, Sunday 30, and Monday 31 October  2016.

Status quo in the leadership confirming Juventus as sole leader of the Serie A reaching 27 points.  The awaited duel for the Scudetto Juventus vs Napoli at the Juventus Stadium was won by Juventus.  Ironically, the verdugo  crushing Napoli’s dream to defeat the giant was the ex-Napoli forward Argentinian Gonzalo Higuaín scoring the winner goal in the 70th minute.  Juventus 2 – 1 Napoli

Here is the situation.  Juventus with 27 points having now a +4 points lead and a positive goal difference of +15 over AS Roma holding the second position with 23 points and a positive goal difference of +14.   Roma wasted the chance to be just -2 points below Juventus because they ended with a goalless draw claiming just 1 point.  Empoli 0 – 0 AS Roma

AC Milan is now in the 3rd position with 22 points and a positive goal difference of +3 after defeating Pescara thanks to the goal of midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura.  AC Milan 1 – 0 Pescara.

A flop in this round is Inter losing the away game against Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium clearly indicating a total crisis.   Inter went down from the 11th to the 12th position while Sampdoria climbed up from the 16th to the 14th position.   The goal was by forward Fabio Quagliarella.   Sampdoria 1 – 0 Inter

Highlight in this round might be Crotone winning their first game in Serie A.  It’s a historical day despite being in the last position with 5 points and a negative goal difference of -11.  Crotone were promoted from Serie B this season.   It’s no wonder why the players and fans celebrating in grand style their victory over Chievo Verona.    Match ending Crotone 2 – 0 Chievo Verona with the goals by  45′ Marcello Trotta (pen) and 92′ Diego Falcinelli.
