A sweet and sour debut for AC Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso ending with a 2-2 draw against Benevento at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.  However, it is a party for Benevento gaining their first point this season by grabbing this draw in the agonizing 95th minute.  Ironically, it is the goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli to score the equalizer goal denying Milan’s victory.   Benevento still remaining in the last position, but at least they conquered their first point.

It’s AC Milan to open the score in the 38th minute. Midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura defeating Benevento goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli with a headed shot in the bottom left corner.

Benevento equalizing the score in the 50th minute for the 1-1. It is George Puscas to defeat AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner following a corner conceded by Mateo Musacchio.

AC Milan taking the lead again in the 57th minute for the 1-2. It is Nikola Kalinic to score with a headed shot defeating goalkeeper Brignoli from close range in the bottom left corner. The assist is by Giacomo Bonaventura with a cross following a corner conceded by Gianluca Di Chiara.

Problems for AC Milan in the 75th minute Referee Mariani gives a second yellow card to Alessio Romagnoli making the automatic red card. Milan remaining with 10 players the rest of the game.

Incredible so….. Benevento sealing the game with an unexpected goal. Yep, totally incredible because it is Benevento goalkeeper, you are reading right, it is the goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli to score in the 95th minute giving Benevento their first point this season. The match ending with a 2-2. Brignoli defeats Milan goalkeeper Donnarumma with a headed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Danilo Cataldi with a cross. What a finish!

Here are the 2017-2018 Italian Serie A Week 14 Results – Fourteenth Round on Saturday 25, Sunday 26 and Monday 27 November 2017.

Status quo in the leadership remaining the same.  Napoli with 38 points is in the first position after defeating Udinese at the Friuli Stadium.   Inter with 36 points is in the second position after defeating Cagliari.   Juventus with 34 points is in the third position after defeating Crotone with a 3-0.

Lazio and Fiorentina ending with a 1-1 draw splitting a 1 point each.  Geno and Roma also with a 1-1 draw.
