A super victory for Sassuolo overturning the result to claim the victory.  Empoli succumbed after the fast goal not even a minute from starting the game.

Amazing, Empoli started the match super charged by scoring the first goal in less than a minute. Yep, it is Francesco Caputo to defeat Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.

Sassuolo equalizing for the 1-1 in the 13th minute. It is Kevin-Prince Boateng to defeat Empoli goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano with a right footed shot in the center. The assist is by Federico Di Francesco.

Sassuolo making a comeback in the 57th minute by taking the lead with a 2-1. It is Gianmarco Ferrari to score with a headed shot in the high center. The headed assist is by Federico Di Francesco following a corner conceded by Domenico Maietta.

The situation is complicating for Empoli because Referee gives a red card to Miha Zajc for a diving…… Empoli remaining with 10 players.

Say no more. Sassuolo taking full control of the match in the 85th minute for the 3-1. It is Federico Di Francesco to rock the party at the Mapei stadium delivering from close range a right footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Pol Lirola.

Hello my friends. How are you doing? The Serie A is back after the international break. Here is the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 4 RESULTS for the Fourth Round on Saturday 15, Sunday 16, and Monday 17 September 2018.

Party is on!  Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his first goal in the Serie A with Juventus after transferring from Real Madrid.  Juventus defeated Sassuolo with 2-1.  The two goals by Cristiano and the party at the Allianz Stadium is on with the classic shout SSSSSIIIIIUUUUUUUUUU!    Juventus is the only team winning all four games to collect all 12 points leading the Serie A as the sole leader.   Sassuolo losing the 2nd position and stepping down to the 3rd position.

We have a big flop in this round.   Inter losing the home game at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium against newly promoted from Serie B team “Parma.”  Yes,  it is a tough blow for Inter seeing their objective to be among the Champions League zone getting complicated.  Of course, it is still too early, and Inter might react in the upcoming games.  Will they?

One mega goleada is that of Sampdoria crushing Frosinone at the Matusa Stadium with an astonishing 0-5 score!!!!!

Napoli back to the winning path after defeating Fiorentina thanks to the goal of forward Lorenzo Insigne to claim the 3 points.

It’s the Ronaldo Day at the Allianz Stadium finally scoring with Juventus in the Serie A leading to the victory. Juventus is the only team winning their four games reaching full 12 points remaining as sole leaders. The magic of Cristiano Ronaldo shining at its best to delight the fans seeing him score and celebrating with his traditional SIIIIIUUUUUUUUUU …. Of course, I celebrated Ronaldo’s goals too, you bet, I did. Oh yeahhhhh!

The awaited moment for Cristiano Ronaldo arriving in the 50th minute to score his first goal as a Juventus player, a true Bianconero. The smell for that goal …. Here is the action, Sassuolo defender Gian Marco Ferrari head a Juventus corner directly to the left post with the ball rebound and guess who was waiting for the volley….. You got it… there he was, Cristiano Ronaldo in the area to smack from close range a right footed shot sending the ball to the center and immediately running to celebrate with his trademark jump and shouting SIIIIUUUUU while opening his arms…. Party was on at the Stadium with fans celebrating, applauding Critiano!

Sassuolo scoring the honor goal in the 91st minute. It is Khouma Babacar to defeat Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a headed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Cristian Dell’Orco with a cross.

The sour note of the match is the red card for Juventus player Douglas Costa in the 93d minute. However, not sour enough to ruin the party because Juventus got the victory.

An exciting game at the Sardegna Arena with Cagliari taking an early lead only to end the match with a 1-1 draw.   Not only Cagliari failed to win the home game, but also AC Milan failed to win this away game to climb towards the top 3 positions.   AC Milan will have to archive this draw and concentrate for the Europa League.  The good news for AC Milan is that Argentinean forward Gonzalo Higuaín scored his first goal in Serie A as a Milan player after his transfer from Juventus.

It is a total flop for AS Roma.  Yes, my friends, the Roman gladiators failed to win the home game at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium after leading with a 2-0 to end the match with a 2-2 draw.  Stats were in favor of Roma.  At home games, in the last 5 games Roma have not lost to Chievo Verona.  Today, it increases to 6, but what is the point to have a draw after leading?  Oh well, Roma failed while Chievo got a golden point.  Simply put, the goals from El Shaarawy and Cristante during the opening 45 minutes weren’t enough to win the game.

Roma opened the score in the 10th minute. Forward Stephan El Shaarawy defeated Chievo Verona goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino from close range with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by Alessandro Florenzi. It is El Shaarawy’s sixth goal against Chievo….

Bryan Cristante increasing the score for the Roman gladiators in the 30th minute for the 2-0. It is Cristante’s first goal with Roma since his signing. Cristante defeating goalkeeper Sorrentino with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by forward Edin Dzeko. Way to go.

Chievo Verona shortening the distance for the 2-1. It is Valter Birsa o defeat AS Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen with a left footed shot in the top left corner. The assist is by Nicola Rigoni.

A brave Chievo battled and after being down ended the game with a 2-2 draw. The hero for Chievo is Mariusz Stepinski scoring with a right footed shot to equalize the score.
