Cremonese, 5th position with 3 points and a positive goal difference of +1
Sassuolo, 18th position with 0 points and a negative goal difference of -2

✅   Here is Cremonese vs Sassuolo preview for the Serie A Week 2 game on Friday 29 August 2025 at the Giovanni Zini Stadium in Cremona, Italy at 18:30.

Following their remarkable display at San Siro against AC Milan, Davide Nicola’s Cremonese will commence the second round of the league season by welcoming Sassuolo to the Stadio Zini on Friday, 29 August 2025. The objective for the Grigiorossi is straightforward: to capitalize on the strong performance they exhibited in the opening round and demonstrate that their recent success was not merely a one-off event.

Conversely, Grosso’s squad is under pressure to bounce back after their loss to the formidable Napoli. Although it appears to be a contest between two evenly matched teams, both clubs are aware that the three points at stake could be vital for their season’s progression.

Serie A tickets

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
AC Milan, 15th position with 0 points and a negative goal difference of -1
Lecce, 14th position with 1 point and a goal difference of “0”

👉    This is a pivotal moment for AC Milan following their disappointing debut in Week 1, where they suffered a loss to Cremonese. Lecce and AC Milan are set to compete in Serie A Week 2 on Friday, 29 August 2025, at the Via del Mare Stadium. AC Milan aims to secure their first Serie A victory of the season.

The pressure is mounting for Milan, as they must secure a victory without exception. Milan’s goal will be to implement a highly aggressive strategy to score goals. It is also hoped that Milan will strive to maintain a clean sheet. Conversely, Lecce will present a determined side, eager for results. In Week 1, Lecce concluded with a scoreless draw against Genoa, earning 1 point for each team. Thus, the situation remains open for both teams. Who will emerge victorious?

Statistics indicate that Lecce has lost 8 and won only one of their 19 Serie A home matches against AC Milan to date, with that lone victory occurring nearly two decades ago. On paper, AC Milan is favored to win this match. A draw would be both a setback for AC Milan and a significant achievement for Lecce. The challenge lies ahead for Milan’s Coach Massimiliano Allegri to demonstrate whether his return to the Rossoneri to restore the team to its former glory is indeed effective or not.

Atalanta – Fiorentina

Serie A tickets

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Fiorentina, 10th position with 3 points and a negative goal difference of -1
Atalanta, 9th position with 4 points and a positive goal difference of +1

✅ Here is  Atalanta vs Fiorentina Preview  for the Serie A Week 3 game on Saturday 11 September 2021 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, Italy at 20:45.

Atalanta obtaining their first goalless draw in 23 Serie A games before the international break.   After finishing in third place for three consecutive seasons.  Atalanta have not reached the 2nd position in 60 previous Serie A season.   Atalanta have now failed to score in consecutive Serie A home matches for the first time since September – October 2018 (three).

Fiorentina are looking for a better season with coach Vincenzo Italiano brings with him the experience of having held Atalanta to a goalless draw with Spezia in 2020/21.  Fiorentina started the season with a 3-1 loss at Roma.   Dušan Vlahović scored a brace in that game, and is one of only six players in the top-six European leagues to score 18+ goals in 2021.

Atalanta have won 30 of the 116 games played against Fiorentina in Serie A (37 draws 49 lost): only against Lazio and Bologna (36), the Bergamo players have won more successes.
Atalanta have won their last three Serie A games against Fiorentina; Atalanta have never reached four wins in a row against Fiorentina (three also in 1942).

Atalanta have won two of their last three home games against Fiorentina (1N), achieving as many successes as in the previous 11 home games with the Viola (4N, 5P).  This could only become the third Serie A game in which Gian Piero Gasperini has not lost any of his first three games of the season, after last season with Atalanta and 2009/10 with Genoa (three wins in both cases).  Also considering the last matchday of last season, Atalanta have failed to score in two consecutive Serie A home matches for the first time since October 2018 (three on that occasion).

Fiorentina won their last Serie A match against Torino and could squeeze two consecutive wins in a single Serie A championship, for the first time since August 2020.  Atalanta have made five shots on target in the first two games of this championship: more conclusions only from Salernitana (four). In the first two games of the last championship the Bergamo players counted 13.

As for players, Josip Ilicic’s last goal in Serie A came against Fiorentina in April 2021; the Atalanta playmaker has scored five goals in 10 matches against his former team in the top flight, averaging one goal every 135 minutes against the Viola.  Giacomo Bonaventura has played 99 games with Atalanta in Serie A, scoring 14 goals in the period – against Atalanta he has scored three goals, including a brace, but no goals in the last four matches.

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Napoli, 5th position with 6 points and a positive goal difference of +3
Juventus, 12th position with 1 point and a negative goal difference of -1

✅ Here is the Preview NAPOLI vs JUVENTUS  for the Serie A Week 3 game on Saturday 11 September 2021 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Napoli, Italy at 18:00.

In other seasons, we would have been talking about the start of a powerful Juventus. Things unexpectedly changing.  Juventus facing Napoli being down in the 12th position with just 1 point after being defeated last round by newly promoted Serie B team, Empoli at the Allianz Stadium.  Juventus objective to fight for the Scudetto seeming an uphill battle.  Making matters worst, Juventus are without the South American players after the international break not having enough time to recover.  Federico Chiesa also not available.   Moise Kean could make his comeback with Juve.

The balance of power. We might say Napoli are the favorites to win following their perfect start of the season winning all 2 games for 6 points.   Motivation high for Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti looking to win a third consecutive Serie A home victory against Juventus for the first time in a decade.  Victor Osimhen’s two game ban had been reduced to one game and Osimhen is expected to play.

Napoli and Juventus playing their 151st game in Serie A. It is the 76th edition in Napoli’s home.   Stats at home: Napoli 25 wins, 27 draws and Juventus 23 wins.   Napoli’s last home win against Juventus in Serie A was on February 13, 2021 – Napoli v Juventus 1-0. Napoli’s last draw at home against Juventus in Serie A was on April 2, 2017 – Napoli v Juventus 1-1. Napoli’s last home defeat to Juventus in Serie A was on March 3, 2019 – Napoli v Juventus 1-2.

Juventus have failed to win their opening two Serie A matches for only the third time in the last 52 years.   Luciano Spalletti and Massimiliano Allegri meet for the first time since the 1-1 draw between Inter (Spalletti) and Juve in April 2019.The defeat for Juventus will be a mighty slap.  Will Juve react and grab this away victory?
