Hello my friends. It’s Sunday morning and many news..a chaotic Milan and a brave Sampdoria. Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Sunday 8 March 2015. Games on Saturday: Sampdoria 2 – 0 Cagliari, AC Milan 2 – 2 Hellas Verona.
Main headline is for AC Milan still in deep trouble without winning. The future of coach Filippo Inzaghi is now more at risk… Here is the situation. Milan were winning 2-1 and then BAM! Hello, hello, in the 94th minute Hellas Verona equalizes with the goal by Nico Lopez in the 94th minute. More headlines about Milan is about the possible sale to Mr. Bee from Thailand and they might have 30%…..
Loving the headline about Inter coach Roberto Mancini prophesying to win the Scudetto in 2016. Wow, will that really happen? In the meantime, Inter are in Naples to play against Napoli today at the San Paolo Stadium.

Sampdoria mission accomplished! It’s a delicate situation for Cagliari still unable to defeat Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. Cagliari are in the relegation zone while Sampdoria look keep climbing the Serie A Table to be in the European Zone. It’s the second consecutive victory for Sampdoria.
A joy for Sampdoria fans as defender Lorenzo De Silvestri opens the score in the 33rd minute. The goal arriving following a corner conceded by Cagliari midfielder Andrea Cossu. It is forward Luis Muriel to provide the assist to De Silvestri from the center for the headed shot defeating Cagliari goalkeeper in the top right corner.
Party time for Sampdoria! Forward Samuel Eto’o scoring his first goal as a “Sampdoria player” in the 72nd minute. It is defender Matias Silvestre to provide the assist to Eto’o. Great move when Eto’o accommodates for the final right footed shot defeating Cagliari goalkeeper in the top right corner. Eto’o running to celebrate and grab a camera from a reporter while his teammates congratulate him.
Watch video Forward Samuel Eto’o scoring his first goal as a Sampdoria player.
Cagliari remaining with 10 players as Referee Tommasi gives a red card to defender Danilo Avelar. This was the second yellow card to Avelar as he commits a foul on Sampdoria forward Citadin Eder.
There are 29 precedents for Sampdoria vs Cagliari. Stats showing 6 wins for Sampdoria, 6 wins for Cagliari, and 17 draws. Cagliari have not won at the Ferraris since the 2012 – 2013 season.
Here is SAMPDORIA official starting lineup by coach Sinisa Mihajlovic:
SAMPDORIA (4-3-3): Viviano; De Silvestri, Silvestre, Romagnoli, Regini; Acquah, Palombo, Obiang; Muriel, Eto’o, Eder.
Here is CAGLIARI official starting lineup by coach Gianfranco Zola:
Hello my friends. Good morning, grab your cup of Coffee. Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Saturday 7 March 2015.
Main headline is about the emergency money given to Parma. As seen in Corriere dello Sport headline, La Lega giving 5 millions to Parma. Yet, not everybody is happy. What? Hum? Really? Yep… Imagine,, headline also saying that Cesena are not really happy with the decision and refer to the league now as a distorted tournament. Bottom line, Parma (who are in the 20th position) will play on Sunday against Atalanta at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.
My favorite headline is about Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi and Cagliari Coach Gianfranco Zola both under pressure and their future might be defined today… Why? Well, hello, hello.. Milan (11th position) playing against Hellas Verona in San Siro while Cagliari (18th position) playing against Sampdoria at the Ferraris. The objective is to win.. but can they do it? Will they be sacked if losing their respective games? Play the drums………
