Hello, my friends. Here are the 2022-2023 Italian Serie A Week 30 RESULTS / Thirtieth Round on Friday 14, Saturday 15, Sunday 16, and Monday 17 April 2023. Napoli remain the sole leader with 74 points. The gap between 1st and 2nd place is +14 points because Lazio have 61 points. Simply put, the Scudetto for Napoli is just around the corner.
Roma are detached in third place, increasing the gap on the fifth in the standings to 5 points. Mourinho’s team remains unbeaten once again (third consecutive match in Serie A, it hasn’t happened since 2017) and is preparing for the sprint that will decide access to the next Champions League (in the next 4 matches they will have to face Milan and Inter at the Olimpico and Atalanta in Bergamo, in addition to Monza).
For the first time Inter have lost three home games in a row without scoring in Serie A.
Cremonese have won two games in a row for the first time in this league: they hadn’t succeeded in Serie A since March 1996 (vs Lazio and Padova) with Luigi Simoni on the bench.
Against Cremonese, Empoli recorded a 68% ball possession percentage, the highest against a single opponent in this Serie A TIM season.
Lazio have collected 61 points in 30 days of this Serie A TIM, only twice in their history (considering three points for a win) have they done better: 62 in 2000/01 and 68 in 2019/20, always finishing in the top four. Lazio have kept clean sheets in all of their last five Serie A TIM away games, equaling their own record in the competition (1998 under Sven Goran Eriksson).
Nicola Sansone equaled Gregoire Defrel as the player who has scored the quickest goal for Milan since the start of a Serie A match since Opta has collected this data (since 2004/05): both scored after just 33 seconds.
Tommaso Pobega scored away in Serie A TIM for the first time since 12 May 2021 (brace against Sampdoria) – all of his next six goals scored in the competition before today had in fact come at home.
Napoli ended a run of 25 straight matches without a draw in Serie A TIM; it was the team in this league that hadn’t drawn a match for the most matches.
Hellas Verona have remained unbeaten in three of their last six Serie A matches against Napoli (W1, D3), after a run of six defeats in a row.
Before Monza, the last team to win their first away match against Inter in Serie A was Chievo in December 2001 (1-2).
The player who covered the most kilometers in the last round was Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (13,664 km). After the Lazio midfielder there are Tommaso Baldanzi from Empoli (13,104 km) and Maxime Lopez from Sassuolo (12,715 km).
Fabiano Parisi was the player who made the most dribbles in the last round of the championship: 9 for the Empoli defender, followed by Nico Gonzalez of Fiorentina with 6 dribbles.
The goalkeeper who made the most saves was Sampdoria goalkeeper Nicola Ravaglia (9), followed by Monza’s Michele di Gregorio and Atalanta’s Marco Sportiello, both on 6 points.

Sampdoria begging for points for salvation!! Sampdoria ended the Serie A Week 30 game with a draw against Lecce on Sunday 16 April 2023 at the Via Del Mare Stadium in Leccce. Lecce took the lead in the first half, Sampdoria equalized in the second. The goal that brought Salento forward came in the 31st minute, when Ceesay received an assist from Strefezza. In the second half the Salento players create much less and try to manage the advantage. In the 75th minute, however, the newcomer Jesé opened up for Gabbiadini, who returned the ball to him in the box. The Spaniard receives and passes Falcone with a first lob, finding the Sampdoria equalizer.
The match in Via Del Mare ends amid the boos of Lecce fans. The Salento team wasted an opportunity to distance themselves from third from bottom Hellas Verona, now five points away, and remained involved in the fight not to relegate, but ended their streak of six consecutive defeats by returning to score points. Sampdoria also moves slightly in the standings, earning a point after two knockouts in a row, but remains 10 points from the safety zone.
Lecce opened the score in the 31st minute. Assan Ceesay defeated Sampdoria goalkeeper Nicola Ravaglia with a left-footed shot to the center. The assist is by Gabriel Strefezza.

Sampdoria equalized in the 75th minute. Jesé Rodríguez defeated Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone with a right-footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Manolo Gabbiadini.

Stats before the game: Lecce to move away from Verona third last, Sampdoria to continue to cultivate the residual hopes of salvation. These are the goals of the two teams today on the pitch at Via del Mare. The Salentini are returning from six consecutive defeats, which made them lose all the advantage accumulated in the first part of the championship over the relegation zone, now only 4 points away. Furthermore, Marco Baroni’s team has not won at home since the first match of 2023, on January 4 against Lazio.
