Ventura has called up Roberto Gagliardini from Atalanta and Armanda Izzo of Genoa.  They will arrive at the training facility in Coverciano during the day on Monday 7 November.  It’s the first senior call-up for both players although Izzo did take place in the preparation camp for the finals of Euro 2016 in France.  An early replacement also made with Fiorentina defender Davide Astori replacing Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli who had injured during the Serie A Week 12 game Chievo Verona vs Juventus on Sunday 6 November.

Italy head coach Giampiero Ventura will direct the first training of the Italian National Team on Monday 7 November 2016 at the Technical Center in Coverciano.   There will be a press conference with Ventura at 13:30.  Training is scheduled at 15:00 and will be open to the media for the first 20 minutes.
