Hello, my friends. Here are the Serie A Week 14 Results – Roundup, Fourteenth Round on Saturday 26, Sunday 27, and Monday 28 November 2016.

Surprise, surprise, surprise…… Let me tell you, my friends.  What an interesting round!!!  Imagine, most people thought Juventus were going to defeat Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium and BIM BAM BOOM…  Genoa changing the script and defeated Juventus.   A total roller coaster with an inspired young forward Giovanni Simeone scoring 2 goals and an own goal by Juventus defender Alex Sandro!!!    The match ending with Genoa 3 – 1 Juventus.   Midfielder Miralem Pjanic scored the honor goal for Juventus.

Here is the situation now.   Juventus losing their 3rd game this season, but still remain in the first position with 33 points and a positive goal difference of +17.   Juventus is only +4 points above AS Roma holding the second position with 29 points and a positive goal difference of +17 and AC Milan in the third position with 29 points and a positive goal difference of +7.

The battle for the Scudetto is definitely open.  It sees a three-way race among Juventus, AS Roma, and AC Milan.  It seems Milan coach Vincenzo Montella is making a difference rebuilding the team back to their glorious years.  Milan defeated Empoli at the Carlo Castellani Stadium with a 1-4 results and good performance by young Gianluca Lapadula scoring 2 goals.

Highlight in this round seeing midfielder Daniele De Rossi playing his 400 game in Serie A with AS Roma.  Good game for Roma defeating Pescara with a 3-2 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.

As far as gaining a spot in the Europa League next season, we have Lazio and Atalanta  with 28 points each followed closely by Torino with 25 points and Napoli with 24 points.

We do have a change in the relegation zone.   Crotone are no longer in the 20th position moving upward to the 19th position following a 1 – 1 draw with Sampdoria.  News is that Palermo went down now to the 20th position after losing the game against Lazio.  Palermo losing 7 consecutive games and something must be done to rescue Palermo.

Napoli with a step back on their quest to get back to the race for the Scudetto.  Napoli ending the match with a 1-1 draw against Sassuolo.

Inter gaining momentum at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium crushing Fiorentina with a 4-2.   Fiorentina ending the game with 10 players since the 45th minute after Referee Damato gave a red card to defender Gonzalo Rodríguez for a foul on Mauro Icardi.

The top scorer of the Serie A:   AS Roma forward Edin Dzeko  and Inter forward Mauro Icardi with 12 goals each
