Hello my friends. How are you doing?  The Champions League and Europa League games are done. It’s time to get back to the Serie A.   Here is the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 5 Preview for the Fifth Round on Friday 21, Saturday 22, and Sunday 23 September 2018.

The challenge is for the “19 rest of the Serie A teams” to follow Juventus!  Yes, my friends, Juventus is the only team winning all their 4 games having full 12 points.    Motivation is high for Juventus after winning the Champions League match despite Cristiano Ronaldo getting a red card.   The race is on to continue as sole leader of the Serie A and you bet the objective for Juventus is to defeat Frosinone.

2018-2019 Serie A Week 4 RESULTS for the Fourth Round on Saturday 15, Sunday 16, and Monday 17 September 2018

Hello my friends. How are you doing? The Serie A is back after the international break. Here is the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 4 RESULTS for the Fourth Round on Saturday 15, Sunday 16, and Monday 17 September 2018.

Party is on!  Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his first goal in the Serie A with Juventus after transferring from Real Madrid.  Juventus defeated Sassuolo with 2-1.  The two goals by Cristiano and the party at the Allianz Stadium is on with the classic shout SSSSSIIIIIUUUUUUUUUU!    Juventus is the only team winning all four games to collect all 12 points leading the Serie A as the sole leader.   Sassuolo losing the 2nd position and stepping down to the 3rd position.

We have a big flop in this round.   Inter losing the home game at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium against newly promoted from Serie B team “Parma.”  Yes,  it is a tough blow for Inter seeing their objective to be among the Champions League zone getting complicated.  Of course, it is still too early, and Inter might react in the upcoming games.  Will they?

Serie A tickets

One mega goleada is that of Sampdoria crushing Frosinone at the Matusa Stadium with an astonishing 0-5 score!!!!!

Napoli back to the winning path after defeating Fiorentina thanks to the goal of forward Lorenzo Insigne to claim the 3 points.

Mission failed.  Inter succumbed to the pressure to win this home game at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium against Parma to climb the Serie A Table.  It seems  a nightmare for Inter while Parma is celebrating this important away victory.    Parma Calcio haven’t won in their last 5 games, and you bet, this one is a boost for the morale of the team reaching 4 points.
Stats were in favor of Inter in home games.  In the last 16 games, Inter have never lost against Parma.  Today, it’s a blow for Inter with Parma’s victory. Surely,  Inter not having an ideal start this season.  Inter have played 5 home games in a row without winning.

Parma opening the score in the 79th minute. It is Federico Dimarco to defeat Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with a right footed shot from long range about 35 yards sending the ball to the top right corner.

Here is INTER official starting lineup by Coach Luciano Spalletti:

INTER: 1 Handanovic; 33 D’Ambrosio, 6 De Vrij, 37 Skriniar, 29 Dalbert; 77 Brozovic, 5 Gagliardini; 87 Candreva, 14 Nainggolan, 44 Perisic; 11 Keita Balde.
