Hello my friends. Here are the Serie A RESULTS Week 37 on Saturday 23, Sunday 24, and Monday 25 May 2015. There is only 1 more game after this round to end the 2014 – 2015 Serie A season on Sunday 31 May with only 3 more available points.   Allow me to congratulate all Juventus fans and make a toast for your doubles: Scudetto and Coppa Italia. Cheers!

A super party for Juventus defeating Napoli at the Juventus Stadium with a 3-1.   It was the perfect day because Juventus were officially awarded the Scudetto after the game.  Party at its best with fans, players, club just celebrating and rightly so.   Let me tell you that by watching the images I could not hold my tears of joy when seeing beloved Juventus Captain Gianluigi Buffon raising the trophy and also Carlos Tevez when the fans practically giving him a roaring ovation.    Buffon celebrated also his 900th professional game.  Sour defeat for Napoli because they are now practically out of Champions League.

The second already defined. This is why the Derby della Capitale Lazio vs AS Roma on Monday was crucial.  Roma secured not only 2nd position, but also the bragging rights to rule in Rome.   On top of that, Roma secured their participation in Champions League next season.   There was  only 1 point difference between the two Roma having 67 points and Lazio 66 points.   Now, Roma reaching 70 points and Lazio remained with 66.

AC Milan finally giving sign of revival.  Milan defeated Torino in San Siro. A special match because forward  Giampaolo Pazzini scored his 100th goal in Serie A.  Plus, forward Stephan El Shaarawy returning to score after 6 months scoring 2 goals.

As for relegation, the sentence is already written for the 3 teams to be relegated next season despite their respective results:

  • Cagliari
  • Cesena,
  • Parma.

The top scorer up to Round 37: Hellas Verona forward Luca Toni with 21 goals followed by Juventus forward Carlos Tevez and Inter forward Mauro Icardi with 20 goals each.

“Galliani in Madrid for Ancelotti” Front Pages, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Monday 25 May 2015

Good morning! Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Monday 25 May 2015.  I am waking up late and instead of Coffee just preparing a morning brunch to be ready for the Derby della Capitale game: Lazio vs AS Roma.

It must be a happy morning for AC Milan fans.  Headlines finally reporting good news with Milan returning to win.  Tutto Sport stating, The Pharaoh crashes Cairo.  Toro demolished by forward Stephan El Shaarawy scoring 2 goals and forward Giampaolo Pazzini converting a penalty to score 100 goals in Serie A.  Sent off during the game Molinaro, Zaccardo and coach Filippo Inzaghi.  Game ending Milan 3 – 0 Torino.

The headline for Juventus is by Paulo Dybala to his compatriot. “Tevez stay with me” Dybala transferring from Palermo to Juventus now and asking Carlos Tevez to remain with Juve so they can play together.  Transfer market headlines regarding Juventus also including possible signing for Falcao and Van Persie more than Edison Cavani.

Bad headline for Fiorentina, a brilliant Hellas Verona forward Luca Toni scoring his 21st goal becoming now the sole leader as top scorer.  Montella salutes Fiorentina and most likely he will move to another team…. Verona defeated Fiorentina.

Headline for the Derby della Capitale, Lazio – Roma, no thanks to the famous biscotto meaning no draw but looking to win.

Love the headline by La Gazzetta dello Sport “With Klose-Totti, Gol old fashion and Europe Derby.”  Bottom line, guys, Lazio cannot lose this game if they want to secure a post in Champions League next season.   Lazio coach saying  they know where to hit while Roma coach Garcia saying Lazio were favorites.

Now, guys, my eyes just went BIG with the headline on “Carletto, Galliani arrives”.  Here is the thing, you know I am a strong Carlo Ancelotti fan and has been saying all along that Milan made a big mistake when they let him go.  I have been claiming for his return to Milan and this is why I am cheering for President Silvio Berlusconi to move forward trying to convince Ancelotti to return.  Galliani is already in Madrid and the situation is not much to convince Ancelotti because he loves Milan, but to see whether Real Madrid will let Ancelotti go.

Surely, I am jumping out of joy with the headline on Luca Toni scoring 2 goals against Fiorentina.  Love the headline saying “the Old bomber does not stop.”  Toni had been criticized for being too old, but hello my friends at 37 years old is just scoring goals as crazy not like the young bombers…. So who is rocking?  hello… LUCA.

Parma are already relegated to the Serie B.  Ideally, Parma will say goodbye to the Serie A with a home victory against Hellas Verona.  However, Verona looking to win the match especially to see their key player forward Luca Toni scoring to reach to the top scorer players.  Luca having now 19 goals only 1  goal less than Juventus forward Carlos Tevez and Inter forward Mauro Icardi with 20 goals each.

Parma opening the score in the 21st minute with midfielder Antonio Nocerino defeating Hellas Verona goalkeeper Rafael with a right footed hsot in the bottom left corner.

Parma increasing the score in the 36th minute with midfielder Silvestre Varela defeating goalkeeper Rafael with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner.

Things changing now.. It’s a historical goal.  In the 42nd minute, Hellas Verona forward Luca Toni defeating Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante with a headed shot.  It’s a crucial goal because Luca now has 20 goals reaching top scorer along Juventus forward Carlos Tevez and Inter forward Mauro Icardi also with 20 goals each.

And there it is.. it must be  a “Luca Toni Day.”   Imagine, in the 79th minute Referee Minelli giving a penalty to Hellas Verona conceded by Parma defender Zouhair Feddal for a handball.   And the magic moment arriving when Luca Toni goes to the penalty spot and surviving the pressure….  Luca converts the penalty with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.   History re-written because now Luca Toni is the sole top scorer with a total of 21 goals.

Good morning! Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Sunday 24 May 2015.   What a lovely Sunday morning and fresh coffee to check the headlines.  I hope you are having a good day.  Congrats if you are a Juventus fans as I suppose you are still celebrating winning the 4th consecutive Scudetto.   And oh boy, let  me tell you, you guys deserve it.

A totally deserved headline picked by Corriere dello Sport stating Juventus as “Invincible.” Oh yeah, hello, Juventus this season rocking big time!    Juventus officially presented with the Scudetto at the Juventus  Stadium after defeating Napoli with a 1-3.   Surely, the party continues for Juventus.  Indirectly,  AS Roma now thanking Juventus because they defeated Napoli which keep them away.  Roma  securing the 2nd position for direct Champions League qualification, at least until Monday when they play Lazio vs Roma to define 2nd or 3rd position.

Bad news for Inter as headline totally praising Genoa as lethal after defeating Inter to crush their dream to be in Europa  League.  Genoa 3 – 2 Inter

Headlines giving also priority to the latest rumor… a hot potato.  Yep.  As Gazzetta dello Sport states, “Ancelotti return.”  Oh boy, and nothing would please me more than seeing beloved Carlo Ancelotti to coach AC Milan again.  Here is the situation.  Reportedly, President Silvio Berlusconi is ready to get him back only if Real Madrid let him go.    Mamma mia, hello, I am even ready to help Ancelotti pack!!!!!!
