AC Milan remain the sole leader after winning the Serie A Week 9 against Fiorentina on Sunday 29 November 2020 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan. AC Milan reaching 23 points being +5 points above Inter and Sassuolo with 18 points each. This is an important victory because the Rossoneri boost the morale of the team in the absence of leading force Zlatan Ibrahimovic who was absent due to injury.

Napoli playing an emotional game as they honor the great ex-Napoli player Diego Armando Maradona playing with an Argentina-style shirt as a tribute. Napoli convincingly win the Serie A Week 9 game defeating AS Roma with a poker on Sunday 29 November 2020 at the San Paolo Stadium in Napoli.  The first goal is by Napoli Captain Lorenzo Insigne dedicating the goal to Maradona by running to grab Maradona’s shirt.  Napoli climbing from the 6th to the 5th position while Roma went down from the 5th to the 6th.

Benevento putting a brave front managing to draw the Serie A Week 9 game against Juventus on Saturday 28 November 2020 at the Ciro Vigorito Stadium. It is a draw with a sense of victory for Benevento who were the Serie B Champions facing the giant Juventus current Serie A champions. It seems that Juventus are Cristiano Ronaldo dependent as he stayed home to rest. The positive aspect for Juventus is having Alvaro Morata still scoring in absence of Ronaldo. This was a special game seeing the ex-AC Milan teammates facing each other for the first time as opposite coaches, Filippo Inzaghi for Benevento and Andrea Pirlo for Juventus.

Good news is for Inter climbing from the 5th to the 2nd position after defeating Sassuolo reaching 18 points.  Sassuolo went down from the 2nd to the 3rd position also with 18 points but having lower goal difference than Inter.     Inter making a revival with this convincing victory after their disastrous defeat in the UEFA Champions League at the Meazza Stadium losing 0-2 against Real Madrid. Inter reaching 18 points same like Sassuolo, though, having a better goal difference with +10 compared to Sassuolo +8. Surely, a terrible match for Sassuolo defender Chiriches making an own goal and a much needed victory for Inter. Sassuolo losing their first game this season despite having 65% ball possession.

Atalanta failing to win the Serie A Week 9 against Hellas Verona on Saturday 28 November 2020 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo. Hellas Verona causing the upset by claiming this important away victory to climb the Serie A Standing reaching 15 points being now +1 point above Atalanta remaining with 14 points.

Torino not seeing the way out and ended the home game against Sampdoria with a  1-1 draw.  Torino remain in the relegation zone in the 18th position having only 6 points.  Sampdoria reaching 11 points in the 11th position.

Lazio crumbling at the Olimpio defeated by Udinese with a 1-3.  It’s just chaos for Lazio being out of the top 6 positions.  Lazio with this lost have 11 points and down to the 9th position.  Udinese with this important away victory reaches 10 points climbing to the 13th position.

The  ex-AC Milan player Gennaro Gattuso being now  Napoli coach suffered a slap defeated by the Rossoneri.  AC Milan needed to win, and they did, the Serie A Week 8 keeping the first position on Sunday 22 November 2020 at the San Paolo Stadium in Napoli.   AC Milan reaching 20 points is +2 points above Sassuolo in the second position with 18 points.  Napoli went down from the 3rd to the 6th position.  This is a historical victory for AC Milan because the last time they won a Serie A game at the San Paolo was in October 2010, ten years ago!!!! Imagine back then, the victory was thanks to the goals from Robinho and Ibrahimović. The hero again -ten years later – is Mr. Ibrahimović.

Lazio causing an upset winning the Serie A Week 8 game defeating Crotone on Saturday 21 November 2020 at the Ezio Scida Stadium in Crotone, Italy. It is chaos for Crotone not finding their way out after being promoted from Serie B remaining in the last position.   The smile is for Lazio with seven unbeaten games.  The victory is meaningful seeing the return of Lazio forward Ciro Immobile after recovering from Covid-19. Immobile becoming Lazio’s second top goalscorer in Serie A reaching 107 goals alongside Giuseppe “Beppe” Signori.

Juventus with a sprint race to defend their Title climbing the Serie A reaching 16 points after defeating Cagliari.  The hero for Juventus is Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo with a brace to boost the morale of the team.

Spezia failing to win the home game.  Spezia and Atalanta ending with a goalless draw the Serie A Week 8 game on Saturday 21 November 2020 at the Orogel Stadium in Cesena.  We might argue that  this draw is more like a victory for Spezia and a failure for Atalanta on their quest to climb to the top 3 positions.

Inter making a great comeback after being down at the Meazza with a 0-2 in favor of Torino.  Inter revived and ended winning the match with a 4-2 killing the Bull!
