Italian Soccer Serie A

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2019-2020 Serie A Week 31 RESULTS / Thirty-first Round on Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, and Thursday 9 July 2020.

👉 Up to Serie A Week 31: There is a two-way race between Juventus (75), Lazio (68)

This round was a total surprise.  Why?  The two leaders of the Serie A Juventus and Lazio lost their respective games.  Juventus lost the game against AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium.  Ironically, AC Milan last week AC Milan defeated Lazio.

AC Milan were losing the game 0-2.  It seems the chip turned around and AC Milan gained an added punch to overturn the result and claim the home victory with 4-2.  Juventus lost their 4th game this season.  AC Milan in the 7th position with 49 points are with a fast sprint to keep winning and climb to the 6th position.

⚽️ Serie A Top Scorer up to Week 31:
Lazio forward Ciro Immobile with 29 goals

Serie A tickets

The best news in this round is for Lecce seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  Lecce defeated Lazio at the Via Del Mare Stadium causing a big headache to Lazio practically waving “goodbye to the Scudetto.”    Lecce claiming the full 3 points are out of the relegation zone claiming from the 18th to the 17th position. Lecce 2-1 Lazio.

Napoli winning the away game defeating Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium reaching 51 points.  It is an important victory for Napoli highly motivated after they defeated AS Roma last week at the San Paolo.  The bad news is for Genoa because they went down to the relegation zone from the 17th to the 18th position with 27 points.

Fiorentina v Cagliari ended with a goalless draw.  The draw giving Cagliari the magic 40 points, clearly, saved.  Fiorentina ending with 35 points. Cagliari had a disallowed goal by forward Giovanni Simeone.

AS Roma defeating Parma at the Olimpico after being defeated by Napoli last week.   AS Roma remain in the 5th position with 51 points.  Parma with 39 points are in the 12th position.

The big flop is for Inter despite the 2-2 draw against Hellas Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.  Inter needed the victory to recover the third position.  Yet, Inter failed to keep the victory and is now in the 4th position with 65 points being -1 point below Atalanta in the 3rd position with 66 points and -10 points below Juventus with 75 points.
