Hello my friends. Here are the Results of the Serie A Week 22 – Twenty-second Round on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January 2016.

Napoli overturning the result after being down by a goal.  Yep, it was a tense start for Napoli allowing the first goal to Empoli at the San Paolo Stadium.  However, the final laugh was for Napoli recovering and winning the match to keep the sole leadership of the Serie A Table reaching 50 points and a positive goal difference of +31.

Juventus with 48 points keeping up the race for the Scudetto being only -2 points below Napoli.   It’s a good match for Juventus crushing Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium with a smackin goleada 0-4.  Juventus recording their 12th consecutive Serie A victory.

This round was special for Atalanta forward German Denis saluting the Italian Serie A league because he is going back to play in Argentina.   An emotional match at the Atleti Azzurri d’Italia Stadium with Denis scoring in the 32nd minute the equalizing goal  for Atalanta 1 – 1 Sassuolo.

We have 3 Serie A games ending with a goalless 0-0 draw:  Genoa 0 – 0 Fiorentina, Udinese 0 – 0 Lazio, and Torino 0 – 0 Hellas Verona.

The big match, the Derby della Madonnina seeing A Milan taking the lead in the 35th minute with a headed shot by defender Alex…  Inter forward Mauro Icardi failing to convert a penalty in the 70th minute hitting the right post.  Total party for Milan when forward Carlos Bacca scored the second goal of the match in the 73rd minute.  Milan wining the Derby della Madonnina with a 3 -0 !
