Hello my friends. Here are the results of the Serie A Week 29 – Twenty-ninth Round on Friday 11, Saturday 12, and Sunday 13 March 2016
A great round for Juventus keeping the first position after defeating Sassuolo. Juventus reaching 67 points. It’s a boost for the morale of the team because Juventus can concentrate now on the upcoming Champions League Round of 16 Second Leg against Bayern Munich to be played on Wednesday 16 March at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Juventus is the only Serie A team remaining in Champions League after the elimination of AS Roma.
Napoli remaining in the 2nd position after defeating Palermo at the Renzo Barbera Stadium. Napoli now with 64 points are -3 points below Juventus. A plus for Napoli is having the sole Top Scorer in the Serie A forward Gonzalo Higuain with 27 goals after converting the penalty against Palermo to secure the victory.
Roma keeping the 3rd position after defeating Udinese at the Friuli Stadium. Roma reaching 59 points. The race for the 3rd position is still alive with 2 main contenders following Roma closely. Inter and Fiorentina having 54 points each are only -5 points below Roma.
Problem now is for AC Milan ending with a goalless draw 0-0 against Chievo Verona. The objective of AC Milan to reach to the 3rd position seeming impossible. Milan remaining in the 6th position with 48 points being -11 points below Roma.
Lazio defeating Atalanta. Lazio is the only Serie A team remaining in Europa League.
