Hello my friends! Here are the Serie A Week 9 Results for the games on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October 2017. A sweet and sour round for Napoli seeing their winning record stopped. Napoli had won all 8 games but now forced to make a pause as the awaited duel for the leadership Napoli vs Inter ended with a 0-0 draw.

Good news is for Juventus archiving the “sour home defeat at the Allianz Stadium by Lazio.” Juventus with a superb German midfielder Sami Khedira scoring a hat-trick against Udinese at the Dacia Arena (Friuli).  Juventus with 10 players making a comeback after being down with a goal to claim a deserved victory with Udinese 2 – 6 Juventus.    The gap is tight for the Scudetto now Napoli 25, Inter 23, Juventus and Lazio with 22 points each.

A blow for AC Milan not taking advantage of Napoli-Inter draw. Milan ended with a home goalless draw Milan 0 – 0 Genoa at the San Siro Stadium.  Milan down in the 11th position with only 13 points… A major blow for their quest to make it to the top 3 positions.  Genoa down in the 15th position with 6 points.

The famous Verona Derby between Chievo and Hellas is won by Chievo Verona with a 3-2.   A victory helping Chievo climbing the Serie A Standing to the 7th position with 15 points while Hellas Verona went down to the relegation zone in the  18th position with 6 points.

Good news is for Sassuolo defeating SPAL at the Stadio Paolo Mazza.  This victory helps Sassuolo because they were in the relegation zone and now climbing to the 13th position!!!  On the contrary, SPAL sinking to the 19th position crying out loud for help.

Roma with an important away victory defeating Torino.   Roma is now in the 5th position with 18 points and a pending game.

Benevento with “an unwanted record.”  Sadly, Benevento, who were promoted from Serie B this season, has not been able to win a single game, yet.  Benevento losing all 9 games !!!  Needless to say, Benevento is in the last position.
