Lazio, defeated in the first leg by a score of 2-1, have never conceded a goal in two straight games this season in the Europa League (five goals conceded in seven games so far).  The first leg was the fifth occasion in which Lazio lost the first leg of a major European challenge by just one away goal (excluding qualifiers) – in three of the four previous occasions they still managed to qualify, the most recent in 2017/18 in the Europa League against FCSB.
