Udinese caused an upset at the Olimpico Stadium by winning the Serie A Week 28 game against Lazio on Monday 11 March 2024 in Rome, Italy. Lazio missed a great opportunity and moves away from the European zone, with the Champions League now 11 points away. Udinese makes a leap forward and leaves the relegation zone, moving up to thirteenth place.
Udinese beat the Olimpico and move away from the hot zone. After a balanced first half and with Lazio close to scoring through Zaccagni, everything happens in just a few minutes of the second half. The guests pass with Lucca, but Lazio immediately equalizes with an own goal from Giannetti, not even having time to beat that Zarraga puts the Friulians back ahead.
