Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Juventus, 4th position with 66 points and a positive goal difference of +22
Venezia, 20th position with 22 points and a negative goal difference of -34
Juventus win the Serie A Week 35 game defeating Venezia on Sunday 1 May 2022 at the Allianz Stadium in Venice, Italy. The victory is a double celebration because Juventus remain in the 4th position within the Champions League zone for next season and 35th birthday celebration for Leonardo Bonucci scoring a brace. Juventus with 70 points are -1 point below Napoli with 70 points in the 3rd position. Bad news is for Venezia with a ninth loss on the bounce remaining at the bottom of the league.
Bonucci has scored four league goals this season, his new-best tally in a single top-flight campaign, and equaled Giorgio Chiellini as the defender to have found the net in the most different solar years in Serie A since 2000 (13 both).
On the thirty-sixth day, Juventus will visit Genoa while Venezia will play their last hopes in recovery on Thursday against Salernitana and on Sunday hosting Bologna.
Juventus forward Dušan Vlahović receives the MVP Award before the game.
The Birthday Boy Leonardo Bonucci opened the score in the 7th minute defeating Venezia goalkeeper Niki Mäenpää from very close range with a headed shot to the top right corner. The headed assist is by Matthijs de Ligt.

Venezia equalized for the 1-1 in the 71st minute. It is Mattia Aramu to defeat Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Dor Peretz.
Total inspiration for Bonucci celebrating his 35th Birthday in grand style! Bonucci gave the lead to Juventus back in the 76th minute from very close range with a left footed shot to the center following a corner conceded by Ales Mateju.
