Juventus slowed down their sprint race to start climbing the standings ending the Serie A Week 6 game against Salernitana with a draw on Sunday 11 September 2022 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy. Salernitana are -3 points below Juventus. Referee Marcenato canceled a late goal for Juventus in the 94th minute for offside. Tough ending because Marcenaro also gave a red card to Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri and Arkadiusz Milik in the 96th minute and 3 minutes later to Juan Cuadrado while for Salernitana the red card to Federico Fazio.
The final drama happened in the final minutes. Juventus get a penalty that Captain Leonardo Bonucci failed because it is saved but on the rebound, voila’ Bonucci scored the equalizer goal. In the next round, Juventus will visit Monza while Salernitana will host Lecce.

✅ Stats before the game. Juventus have won four of their previous six in Serie A against Salernitana (1D, 1L), keeping clean sheets on five occasions. Salernitana have lost all six Serie A away games played against Piedmontese teams.
Juventus have alternated a draw with a win in their last six Serie A home games, the most recent of which is a 2-0 win against Spezia; the last time they achieved two consecutive home wins in the competition was last March, precisely against Spezia and Salernitana. Salernitana has obtained six points so far in the championship; in the two previous Serie A seasons in the era of three points to victory (1998/99 and 2021/22), the Campania team had stopped at one point after both five and six days, while in 1947/48, the only other vintage disputed, they had obtained two wins and two draws (2P).
