Turin, 10 April 2017 –Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that, following the achievement of the conditions provided by the contract, the “call option” for the definitive transfer of the registration rights of the player Simone Zaza has been exercised by Valencia Club de Futbol SAD.

The permanent transfer fee is € 16 million, to be paid in two financial years, and may increase by a further € 2 million on achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.

This transaction generates a positive economic effect, in 2016/2017 financial year, for about € 3.7 million.

“We’re in good form and we’re coming off the back of a great result in the league on Saturday. It was important that we kept our distance from the chasing pack and it gave us even more confidence going into Tuesday’s game.”

“All we can do is think about our preparations and performance and make sure that, come kick-off, we are at 105 per cent. It will be a fantastic occasion to be part of; playing at home first in front of our own supporters will be a huge boost and we need to go out and try and win the game.

“To do that, we have to be flawless both in attack and defence, like playing in a final. They have some world-class forwards so we must be well-organised, make as few mistakes as possible and capitalise on whatever chances that come our way.

“Do we believe we can do it? Of course we do, always. I know what our team is capable of and I know that we have enough to take on Barcelona.”

“I would choose my team-mates. The best out of those three? None of them. Dybala is not better than Mandzukic, Mandzukic is not better than Dybala. Everyone brings something different to this team and that is our strength. We play as a family and we fight until the very end for each other.”
