Inter suffered a home defeat losing the Champions League Group Stage – Group C game against Bayern Munich on  Wednesday 7 September 2022 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy.  Inter coming from a tough defeat losing the Milan Derby last week. Something must be done for Inter to regroup and regain their path to winning ways.

Bayern lead Group C together with Barcelona, ​​who won 5-1 over Viktoria Plzen. On Matchday 2, Inter will play the away game against Viktoria Plzen while Bayern will host Barcelona.

Bayern Munich opened the score in the 25th minute. Leroy Sané defeated Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Joshua Kimmich.
