Hello my friends. Here are the Serie A RESULTS for Week 31 on Saturday 18, Sunday 19, and Monday 20 April 2015.
It’s just almost an “Oscar night” for Juventus. Yep, the awaited match Juventus – Lazio ending in favor of Juventus with a 2-0 reaching now 73 points and almost ready to collect the Scudetto having a +15 lead.
AS Roma under pressure to recover the 2nd position failed. Roma – Atalanta ending with a 1-1 draw. Roma wasted a precious time to win the home game. Here is the situation, Lazio and Roma both having 58 points, but Lazio keep the 2nd position for having a better goal difference +28 while Roma +19.
The MILAN DERBY ending with a BIG FLOP for both teams. A goalless draw. There is only 1 point difference and both teams are battling not only to win the Milan Derby, but also to pursue their last minute sprint towards the Europa League next season. The draw not helping and the standing remaining the same Milan in the 9th position with 43 points and Inter in the 10th position with 42 points. I think Inter had more chances to win, but the fact remains that neither Inter nor Milan could open the score….
The Round 31 ended on Monday with a blow for Fioretina losing the home game at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. Hellas Verona defeating Fiorentina in the 90th minute . A historical victory for Verona who had not won at the France since October 21, 2001.
The top scorer up to Round 31: Juventus forward Carlos Tevez with 18 goals.
Top Serie A teams standing AFTER Serie A Week 31 games. First 3 qualifying for Champions League, 4 and 5 for Europa League.
–Juventus, 73 position with points and a positive goal difference of +44
–Lazio, 2nd position with 58 points and a positive goal difference of +28
–AS Roma, 3rd positions with 58 points points and a positive goal difference of +19
– Napoli, 4th position with 53 points and a positive goal difference of +16
– Sampdoria, 5th position with 50 points and a positive goal difference of +7
Relegation Zone: Cesena, 18th position with 23 points and a negative goal difference of -25 – Cagliari, 19th position with 21 points and a negative goal difference of -26
Parma, 20th position with 13 points and a negative goal difference of -32
Good morning my friends. It’s just a beautiful Monday morning. Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Monday 20 April 2015.
Sunday is over and now Monday starting… how are you? I am very happy not much for how the Milan Derby ended, but for main sports news in Italy! Yep, headlines giving deserved priority to the victory of Valentino Rossi winning the MotoGP in Argentina!!!!! Wohooooooo Congrats Valentino!!!!!!
Imagine how disappointing the Milan Derby was that not only La Gazzetta dello Sport just gave them a small headline, but also Corriere, and Tutto Sport!!!! It was just a disappointing goalless 0-0 draw and three goals ruled out. Surely, I agree that Inter played better than Milan, but bottom line is that I consider it a major FLOP. Simply put, chances for Inter and AC Milan to make it to the Europa League next season are disappearing. So the party switching to Valentino Rossi…
Now, here is a headline that I am just ready to share with joy… wow, Tutto Sport showing the big headline for Juventus party at the home of Torino… yeah, Torino vs Juventus playing next week on Sunday 26 April and by the way things are going, this might be and early Scudetto party for Juventus considering there are only 7 more games…. Juventus currently with 73 points and the second position Lazio with only 58 points…. Are we seeing a red carpet? The Toro will be eager to stop Juventus party, but will they?
Ok, guys, have a good day and dont’ forget we have Fiorentina vs Hellas Verona today at 20:45.

What a disappointing Derby della Madonnina!!!!! It was supposed to be a super mega Milan Derby because Inter and AC Milan not only battling for the bragging rights to rule the city of Milan, but also to get closer to Europa League next season. It’s almost a mirage, but mathematically speaking, Europa is still possible… though with this draw it’s more a “Good Bye Europa” than a reality. Overall, Inter had the best part, but goals did not make it. Tough lesson for these 2 Milanese teams…. total flop!
Well, this is it Referee Luca Banti whistles the start of the match…… let’s roll the ball!!!!!!! UEPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Captain for Inter in this Milan Derby is defender Andrea Ranocchia. Captain for AC Milan is defender Ignazio Abate.
Shaking hands before the match, Inter Captain Andrea Ranocchia and AC Milan Captain Ignazio Abate
Inter sending the first signal to Milan. In the 11th minute a miraculous save by Milan goalkeeper denying midfielder Hernanes to score by saving his left footed shot in the top right corner. It’s corner for Inter….
Oh my gosh.. up to the 12th minute it is Inter to dominate the Milan Derby. Wondering whether AC Milan will react?
Goals not arriving. First yellow card of the match is for Inter midfielder Gary Medel after a foul on AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate in the 28th minute.
Milan getting their first yellow card in the 33rd minute after midfielder Nigel De Jong commits a foul on Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
Who will score first? We are not seeing goals, but more yellow cards. In the 36th minute it is Inter defender Juan Jesus to get a card….
This Milan Derby up to the 43rd minute not showing a top match.. it’s win win for any……
In the 49th minute … Jérémy Menez is caught offside. A minute later, 50th minute Inter midfielder Hernanes tries a through ball, but forward Mauro Icardi is caught offside. And when are the goals arriving???
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz… we want goals!!!!
In the 58th minute, Milan seeing their chances to score blocked! Forward Jérémy Menez attempts a right footed shot in vain from outside the box only to be blocked.
In the 67th minute Inter replacing midfielder Assane Demoya Gnoukouri with midfielder Joel Obi.
In the 72nd minute, Referee Banti disallowed the own goal by Milan defender Philippe Mexes… Banti ruling out the goal after few minutes after considering the foul before the goal by Palacio on Antonelli… Mamma mia, what a decision! Inter fans were already celebrating the goal and then PUFF…..
Oops, problems for Milan and it is a forced substitution for injury.. In the 73rd minute defender Gabriel Paletta replacing defender Alex .. cannot continue.. clearly. . injured.
AC Milan adding fresh energy to the attack by replacing forward Suso in the 73rd minute to bring forward Mattia Destro.
In the 77th minute Inter making a substitution. Midfielder Mateo Kovacic is replaced by forward Xherdan Shaqiri.
Inter continuing with the pressing… In the 79th minute there it is the assist by Hernanes to defender Juan Jesus delivering a left footed shot and goalkeeper Diego Lopez saves in the bottom right corner.
Well, desperate final minutes and Milan making the last substitution in the 81st minute with forward Alessio Cerci replacing midfielder Andrea Pioli.
Say no more…. it’s over! Referee Banti whistles the end of the game. And hello, my friends, let me tell you.. a disappointing Milan Derby too much noise and no results…

Here are INTER vs AC MILAN official formations – lineups on Sunday 19 April 2015 for the Serie A Week 31, Derby della Madonnina at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy at 20:45.
Hello, hello, hello, hello my friends! Wow, what a day, an intense Sunday. How are you? Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Sunday 19 April 2015. I will need a big cup of Coffee to be alert!!
I am just so excited to watch the Milan Derby. I agree with the headlines of Tutto Sport saying that it is an Anti Crisis derby for Thohir and Silvio… Surely, It’s time for this derby where the battle is not much for the Scudetto as that is just an impossible mission considering the big gap with Juventus with 73 points and only 7 more games… Milan 42 points and Inter 41 points.
As the headline of Corriere dello Sport says, it is just a small derby., As I was saying, this derby is not for the Scudetto because both failed this season. Now, the battle is to grab a spot for the Europa League next season, so Inter and Milan will look to win this game.
Headlines for Juventus are just an added boost towards the Scudetto. Juventus defeating Lazio with a 2-0. What else can we say about Juve, come on, guys, it is almost impossible, unthinkable to think Juventus will lose this Scudetto… The gap is +15 with Lazio in the second position and we have only 7 more games….. so far, Juventus have been consistent all season losing only 2 games….. surely, miracles exist…..
Headline for Sampdoria – Cesena, it’s more like a headache for Sampdoria stopped by struggling Cesena with a 0-0 draw at the Ferraris Stadium.
Headlines for Sassuolo – Toro putting the pressure on forward Maxi Lopez to deliver a victory.
