Hellas Verona 0 – 3 Lazio

24′ Ciro Immobile (pen)
40′ Ciro Immobile
60′ Adam Marusic

Lazio gaining an important away victory to claim all 3 points at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium. Lazio defeating Hellas Verona with a super performance by forward Ciro Immobile scoring already 11 goals in 8 games.   Lazio are now in the 4th position reaching 13 points just -5 points below Juventus and Napoli with 18 points each.   Bad news is for Hellas Verona down in the relegation zone in the 19th position with only 2 points.

The first goal of the match is thanks to a penalty in the 24th minute conceded by Hellas Verona defender Samuel Souprayen after a foul on Lazio forward Adam Marusic inside the penalty area. It is Forward Ciro Immobile to convert the penalty defeating Hellas Verona goalkeeper David Andrade Nicolas with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.

Second goal arriving in the 40th minute with the same dynamic combo Immobile-Marusic. This time Marusic providing the assist to Immobile who delivers a right footed shot in the bottom left corner. Way to go.

Pay back…. returning the favor. There it is Immobile this time providing the assist to his buddy Adam Marusic who scores with a right footed shot in the center. This is Marusic’s first goal in Serie A with Lazio.
